The round table covering the topic: “Modern times-Traditions and customs” will be on the air on the Abkhaz State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Channel tonight at 09:45 pm.

There are so many families with many children in cities and villages of Abkhazia. Thus, seven children are growing in a large Karkhalaa family, which lives in Gup Village, Ochamchira Region. There are five boys and two girls. The head of the family Boha Karkhalaa passed away three years ago. His wife Janna Khadjimba stayed alone with seven children.

The International Fund “Apsny” has held the round table covering the topic: “Traditions and customs in contemporaneity”

“This is a small contribution to development of educational institutions of Abkhazia, especially when it comes to Regional Libraries”, said the Vice-President of the International Fund “Apsny” Maxim Gvindjia.

Regional libraries are experiencing the same difficulties as majority of libraries. Despite the development of the Internet, regional and small libraries are still remains the source of information.

Today, the outstanding Abkhaz state, political and public figure Konstantin K. Ozgan has passed away. The entire era in the history of Abkhazia is connected to Konstantin Ozgan, where his personality and authority played a leading role.

The International Fund “Apsny” expresses its condolence to all relatives and friends of Konstantin Ozgan.

Today, the meeting was held between the head of Tquarchal Region and representative of the International Fund “Apsny” at the Tquarchal Administration. The head of the Region –Aida Chachkhalia, the deputy heads Zurab Arshba and Vitaly Kvitsiniya, the representative of the Fund in Tquarchal Region Violetta Bigvava, the President of International Fund “Apsny” Sener Gogua, the General Secretary of the Fund Asida Inapshba, the Chairman of Economics and Investments Committee Abesalom Kvarchiya, the Chairman of Demography and Apsuara Committee Syrma Ashuba participated at the meeting.

An outstanding Abkhaz writer, a hero of the quill was honored at the office of the public organization the International Fund “Apsny” on the occasion of 84th anniversary.

The writer was accompanied by the chief editor of "Alashara" magazine Anatoly Lagulaa.

The Abkhaz State University held a party of humor and parody. The party was organized jointly by the Faculty of Philology, editorial board of the journal "Alashara" and its editor Anatoly Lagulaa. Financial assistance for the event was rendered by International “ Apsny."

Presentations were made by masters of words such as: Anatoly Lagulaa, Terent Chania, Arda Ashuba, Vladimir Zantariya, Valentin Kogoniya, Albina Ankvab, Gunda Sakaniya, Gunda Kvitsinia, Adgur Kakoba, Nugzar Logua, Dmitry Gabelia, Alkhas Chkhamaliya, Inal Gitsba, Hadzharat Khajimba, Anatoly Alteyba.

The fifth annual report meeting of the Cultural and Charitable Fund "Auchan" was held today in the conference hall of the hotel "Atrium Victoria"

In 2015, the "Ashana" Fund helped a big number of children, who needed a treatment. 8.135 million 165 rubles was collected in 2015 for treatment of sick children, which were aimed at the treatment of 36 children. 34 children have received medical treatment in the clinics of Russia, Turkey and Israel.

The Public Organization International Fund “Apsny” visited Bzypta Village, Gagra Region, where the family with many children lives. The head of the family Dmitry Khetsia brings up 10 children: 5 sons and 5 daughters alone. Recently a great misfortune happened in their family; unfortunately the mother of these 10 children had passed away. Anetta Khamitba was just 45 years old, and she didn’t even have time to get enough with her wonderful children.

Today the public organization International Fund “Apsny" celebrates its one year anniversary. On this remarkable day, the meeting of founders, employees and sponsors was held, where the Fund leadership gave a report on the accomplished work and also presented new projects and action plans for 2016 to the founders and sponsors.

This year, a well-known Abkhaz scientist, poet, public figure and holder of the first degree order "Akhdz-Apsha" Omar B. Beiguaa would have turned 115 years old.

In this connection, the State Commission on preparation of events dedicated to Omar Beiguaa, headed by the Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya was established. The commission is composed of the President of the International Fund “Apsny" Sener Gogua and head of the "Apsuara" Committee Oktay Chkotua.

Beslan Gabelia and Svetlana Gablaya family from Jal village, Ochamchira region, raises seven children. One can only be glad the way this family raise their children in the spirit of Apsuara, teach them to honor traditions, customs and respect elders. Children think much of each other and get along with each other; elders help their parents to raise younger children and in household tasks.

The murder of the Russian military as a result of Turkish Air Force attack in the skies over Syria on November 24, 2015, was the beginning of the development of regional tension, which has never happened before. The former friends and partners with a trade turnover of over 40 billion Dollars per year became enemies in one day.

The staff of the public organization International Fund “Apsny" held a working meeting. They discussed both implemented projects in 2015 and planned ones for 2016.

President of the Fund Sener Gogua, offered the audience to make changes to the structure of the fund. Thus, Maxim Gvindzhia was appointed to the position of the Vice -President of the Fund. Oktay Chkotua became the head of Apsuara Committee. Also, a Joint Committee on Economy, Investment and Finance was headed by Abesalom Kvarchia.

International Fund “Apsny" held a ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual Award "Ahzyrhuaga" in 2015. The award "Ahzyrhuaga», established by the Fund, is awarded to citizens of Abkhazia for their contribution to the development of science, economy, culture, education, medicine and for other outstanding results.  Representatives of state structures, community, workers of culture, scientists and youth were present at the reception.

The exhibition of professional artists of Abkhazia “The Strokes of Time”, organized by the International Fund “Apsny” was held in Sukhum, in the hall of the State Museum of the Republic of Abkhazia. The exhibition was devoted to the 70th anniversary of the first President of the Republic of Abkhazia Vladislav G. Ardzinba.

Opening the exhibition, the representative of the International Fund “Apsny” Guram Amkuab told about the activities of the Fund and stressed the importance of an organized exhibition:

Public Organization the International Fund Apsny expresses its deep condolences to the families of Russian soldiers killed in Syria on November 24th, 2015, during the attack of the Turkish Air Forces on the Russian bomber.

There is no logical explanation for what has happened. We are confident that this incident could have been avoided.

We express our solidarity with Russia and condemn any expression or support to terrorism. We fully support the actions of Russia in combating terrorism.

The delegation from Jordan was headed by the chief of public organization "Divan-Abaza" Hassan Chichba. After warm greetings the President of the International Fund "Apsny» told the guests about the Fund activities, shared plans and future projects. Two sides discussed issues of further cooperation.

It should be noted that in order to work more efficiently in the direction of the Middle East countries, establishment and development of closer cooperation with our diaspora, the fund created the Middle East department, which was headed by Anzor Arutaa, a repatriate from Syria.

​President of the "International Fund Apsny" Soner Gogua sent his condolences to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia Semyon Grigoryev, due to the plane crash in the sky over Egypt, which claimed the lives of so many people.  

Public Organization the “International Fund Apsny”, has launched a new project to support big Abkhazian families.

Dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the Victory, the “International Fund Apsny” provided assistance to the family of a war veteran, father of six children, John Hiba, living in the village of Baslahu. He was provided with so much needed material assistance necessary in big families like: refrigerator, washing machine, water tank and pump, and household chemicals, and school supplies for children.
