“International Fund Apsny” organized a trip for Gal students and members of choreographic ensemble “Ingur”. At the invitation of the President of the “International Fund Apsny” Sener Gogua they visited wonderful historical places, in particular, the New Afon cave. It was a special and unforgettable day for children. For some of them it was the first visit to the cave, and they were extremely impressed by the beauties of Abkhazia. The day was full of singing and dancing, children could create the atmosphere of holiday, what tourists and local people could enjoy.
Once in a month, ten students from vulnerable families living in different Regions of Abkhazia are rendered assistance by the “International Fund Apsny”.
Today ten students from Sukhum were provided support within the framework of “Agurazra” Project. The staff of the Fund purchased clothes and necessary back-to-school-goods for students. The funds allocated for each is eight thousand Rubles. The "Agurazra" project is carried out monthly and covers 80 000 Rubles each month, it is aimed at supporting students from various regions of Abkhazia.
The presentation of the project «Revival of the names " dedicated to residents of Abkhazia, missing during the Second World War in Nazi camps was held at the press center of the news agency Sputnik Abkhazia. This project has managed to find 320 residents of Abkhazia who died in the Nazi camps and considered as missing persons. "It is known for certain, what happened to these people and where they are buried," - stressed the project Director Grigory Skvortsov.
The total number of missing people in our country is 8,000.
There 20 secondary schools in Gal District. Recently, 6 schools which participated at the Abkhaz language skills contest, organized by Gal district Education Department, showed the best results. They were presented gifts on behalf of the “International Fund Apsny”.
The reading and exhibition of Abkhaz artist Nugzar Logua “Atskhi amshi” (Day and Night) was held in the National Library named after I.Papaskir. The event was organized by the “International Fund Apsny”.
On the initiative of the "International Fund Apsny" within the framework of "Health" project, with the participation of doctors - pediatricians from Armenia and Abkhazia the seminar was held in Sukhum. The seminar was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of Abkhazia Batal Katsiya and chief pediatrician of Abkhazia Ada Abukhba.
Today, the "International Fund Apsny" donated four more computers to Tkvarchal Humanitarian and Industrial College.
Gita Smyr raises eight children in Agudzera village, Gulripsh district alone. Her husband Vanchka Zantariya passed away a few years ago. Considering the situation of Gita’s family, the leadership of Gulripsh District provided her with four-room apartment in a new building in Agudzera village in 2013, where she still lives with her children. The oldest daughter is 17 years old, she is graduating school this year, the youngest child is two and others are students.
The reading and exhibition of Abkhaz artist Nugzar Logua “Atskhi amshi” (Day and Night) will be held on June 16 at 4 PM in the conference hall of the National Library named after I.Papaskir . The event is organized by the "International Fund Apsny".
On the initiative of the "International Fund Apsny" within the framework of "Health" project, doctors from Armenia paid a visit to Abkhazia.
Doctors will conduct free reception of children with cerebral palsy on June 13, 14 and 15, from 10 AM in Sukhum. All the expenses will be covered by “International Fund Apsny”. In order to implement the abovementioned project, “International Fund Apsny” signed an agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The President of public organization "International Fund Apsny" and Director General of Non-Commercial Enterprise "Abkhaz Agency for Black Sea–Caucasus Development" signed a cooperation agreement in accordance with the charters of the organizations.
In compliance with the signed agreement, parties have agreed to conduct joint charitable campaigns, provide comprehensive mutual assistance and inform each other about all planned activities.
The public organization "International Fund Apsny " launches a new project "The Abkhaz centenarians", within the framework of which representatives of the Fund: Secretary General Inapshba Asida, head of Apsuara committee Oktay Chkotua and representative of the Fund in Ochamchira district Demian Gogua visited Tarba family in Myku village with gifts for the most honorable member of this Abkhaz family- Nutsa Dumaa.
The “Aguamch” (Power) project- permanent Fund project, aimed at development of sports and physical culture among young generation. Within the frames of this project, the “International Fund Apsny” will provide sports equipment for village schools on a monthly basis.
The World Football Cup tournament under the auspices of ConIFA, where 12 teams from different countries participated, was held in Abkhazia from May 28 to June 5.

The International Fund “Apsny" headed by Sener Gogua is permanently providing financial support to the children's program "Mrashta" on "Abaza TV " Channel.
The meeting was held between the President of the "International Fund Apsny"- Sener Gogua, Vice President of the "International Fund Apsny"- Maxim Gunjia and representatives of Abkhaz Diaspora in Munich. The issues related to the history of Abkhazia were discussed at the meeting; our compatriots, living in Germany were interested in political and economic situation in Abkhazia. Attendants were presented books and other souvenirs from their historical homeland by the President of the Fund Sener Gogua.
Within the framework of "Apeipsh" project the "International Fund Apsny" visited the family of Merab Arshba and Aida Yaqub oglu. Arshba family is raising five children: three boys and two girls. The eldest son is 17 years old, he is graduating from high school this year, two boys are studying in Gagra lyceum-boarding school and the youngest girl is 4 years old. Large Arshba family lives in Tkuarchal.
Memorandum of understanding was signed today in Brussels between Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) and “International Fund Apsny”, which is one of the most significant non-governmental organizations in Abkhazia.

The events dedicated to Memorial Day of exiled Caucasian people were continued at the Abkhaz State Drama Theater named after S.Chanba. The poem of Rushbey Smyr devoted to exiled people was presented to audience at the Theater. The stage director of “Symra” performance was Madina Argun. Secondary school students and teachers from Tkuarchal and Pitsunda were invited by the “International Fund Apsny” to see the play.
Today, the President of the “International Fund Apsny” Soner Gogua presented football jerseys for Abkhaz national football team players to the team coach Djuma Kvaratskhelia and players George Djanaa and Tarash Khagba.
“We are so glad that the World Football tournament CONIFA will take place in Abkhazia. On behalf of our Fund we would like to present gifts to your team and wish you success and achievements”,-said Soner Gogua.
Today is the memorial day of exiled Circassian nations, who experienced one of the greatest tragedies of humankind. Millions of people had to leave their homeland (forcible deportation), and thousands of them died during the exodus. The remembrance events were held in Sukhum. Guests from North Caucasus, State and Public Organizations, Students and Teachers from all Regions of Abkhazia came to lay flowers to the monument dedicated to exiled people.
The President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Hajimba and members of Government attended the event.
On the 28th of May, the opening ceremony of the World Football tournament will be held in Abkhazia. The “International Fund Apsny” ordered 44 football jerseys in Turkey for Abkhaz national football team players. The gifts were shown to the President of the Football Federation of Abkhazia Jemal Gubaz. Tomorrow the “International Fund Apsny” will present them to team players.
The 4-th International Conference “The cause and treatment of autism” was held in Moscow on April 28- 30.
The conference was attended by psychologist from Abkhazia Anna Podolenko and the student of pedagogical faculty ( psychology department) of the Abkhaz State University Khanifa Kharchlaa. The trip was organized by the “International Fund Apsny”.
Experts from the USA, Netherlands and Russia participated at the 4-th International Conference: neurologists, psychologists, nutritionists and other experts in different spheres.
The meeting between the leadership of the “International Fund Apsny” and representatives of the International Organization “World Vision” was held in Sukhum at the office of “International Fund Apsny”.
Representatives of “World Vision” Ineta Kursiete and Rita Basariya shared information about activities of the organization in rendering assistance to children with disabilities.
In particular, “World Vision” provides support to three Regional centers in Gal, Ochamchira and Tkuarchal, dealing with rehabilitation problems of children with disabilities.
The presentation of the first issue of the magazine “Apsyntila sara styla” (Abkhazia is my motherland) was held at the Republican Library named after Ivan Papaskir. The event was opened by the Chairman of Culture and Education Committee of the International Fund “Apsny” Nugzar Logua.
Next, the floor was given to the chief editor, Chairman of Media and Public Relations Committee of the Fund Guram Amkuab.
At the invitation of the International Fund “Apsny" the delegation from Egypt paid a visit to Abkhazia. This visit is the continuation of the visit of President of the International Fund “Apsny” Soner Gogua earlier to Egypt and Jordan. Egypt is a home to a great number of representatives of Abkhaz Diaspora, who remember about their origin and seek to establish and develop contacts with their historical motherland-Abkhazia. Egyptian Diaspora is very active and unites about 20,000 people. They basically share a common surname-Abaza.
Oral Bganba was re-elected to the position of the Chairman of Sakariya Abkhaz Cultural Center.

Today scientific and research conference "Actual problems of pediatric neurology", dedicated to the problems of cerebral palsy (cerebral spastic infantile paralysis) was held in Sukhum. The conference was organized by cultural and charitable Fund "Ashana" and the International Fund “Apsny" with the support of the Ministries of Health of Abkhazia and Russia.
Public Organization International Fund “Apsny” and Public Charity Organization “Kiaraz” signed an agreement on establishment the sociological laboratory, which will help to study sociological processes, which takes place in Abkhazia. The President of International Fund “Apsny” Soner Gogua and Executive Director of Public Charity Organization “Kiaraz” Kamma Gopia signed an agreement on cooperation. The International Fund “Apsny” has allocated funds in the amount of 300 000 Rubles for establishing the sociological laboratory.
Today the President of the Republic of Abkhazia has received International Fund 'Apsny' delegation composing the President of the International Fund 'Apsny' Soner Gogua, Secretary General of the Fund Asida Inapshba, the head of Media and Public Relations Committee Guram Amkuab, the head of Culture and Education Committee Nugzar Logua, the head of Social Policy Committee Julia Gumba and head of Youth Policy Committee Astamur Logua.

The eldest one is 18 years old, the youngest is three…The public organization International Fund “Apsny” renders assistance to the abovementioned large family considering all social difficulties the family experience. A new social-public magazine “Apsyntila sara stila” (Abkhazia is my motherland) was published on the initiative of public organization the International Fund “Apsny”, headed by Sener Gogua.
The main goal of the magazine is to preserve and develop culture and traditions of Abkhaz people, promote the establishment of relations between representatives of Abkhaz Diaspora living abroad with their historical motherland.

The students were rendered assistance within the framework of the abovementioned project. The staff of the Fund purchased clothes and necessary back-to-school-goods for students. The funds allocated for each eight thousand Rubles. "Agurazra" project is carried out monthly and aims at supporting students from various regions of Abkhazia.
The large family of Revaz Sharambaya and Esiko Khashig, living in Sukhum, are bringing up 9 children, all of them are girls: Veronica, Christina, Milana, Lana, Ilona, Gunda, Liliana, Evelina, Daniela. The youngest daughter is 4 years old, and the older one is-22. Six of them are studying in Sukhum secondary school №13, and two are going to enter the university.
The International Fund “Apsny" provides financial assistance to families with many children in the form of necessary household appliances, furniture, clothing, required to every particular family.
Why do we need statehood? We need it in order to preserve the independence of our country, our nation, culture and language. Wealth can be acquired in any other state. The Abkhaz people should live in a strong country. We need to discuss issues related to Apsuara more often and this knowledge should be spread among the people. Our elders: grandfathers, fathers and mothers are the sources of this knowledge. Of course, life goes on and we have to progress.
"International Fund Apsny" gave the opportunity to children from low-income and large Abkhazian families from Bzypta, Gagra Region to watch Huta Jopua and Semen Hvatlandziya performance "The man who drove the king mad" in the Abkhaz State Drama Theatre named after Samson Chanba.
The first time the abovementioned performance was staged in 1946. The producer of the present performance is Madina Argun. The performance appeared with a new spirit, changes have been made, and the actors made it vivid and memorable by their gift.
I would like to express my opinion as a lawmaker - at different times, we were passing different laws. Not so long ago, we passed the Law on demographics, protection and support of maternal health. This issue has raised many discussions in society. There are cases when the law impedes the case, and sometimes, it helps. Even if there are shortcomings, all together we can solve many issues, but they have to be previously explored. I don’t know any person who is not interested in the issues related to demography.
