A new project has been launched in the educational center "Academy" with the support of “International Fund Apsny": free Abkhaz language courses.
"These project will help us to improve the situation with language, spread, preserve and develop it," - said the President of "International Fund Apsny" Sener Gogua.
Courses provoked a great interest among young people and adults. In the future, our Fund is planning to implement a number of other projects to develop Abkhaz language.
On September 16, the meeting was held between representatives of "International Fund Apsny» and the head of Sukhum City administration Adgur Kharazia. The meeting was attended by the President of "International Fund Apsny" Sener Gogua, Chairman of Social Policy Committee Julia Gumba and Chairman of Culture and Education Committee Nugzar Logua.
The Fund representatives familiarized the mayor with its activities and shared information about ongoing projects, as well as about those who extremely needs support of the Fund.
In the village of Kulanyrhua in Gudauta district there is a home of a young family Avidzba Gudisa and Apshytsba Miranda, who raised five children: three boys and two girls. Due to the proximity to Gudauta town, parents have the opportunity to work in town. Children are still very small (from one to seven years), but the young mum Miranda is helped by her mother - Chukba Zamira, who lives with them and caring for children.
Today, the President of "International Fund for Apsny" Sener Gogua, Head of Culture and Education Committee Nugzar Logua and main sponsor of the Fund-General Director of "Abhazmorprom" company Timur Logua visited Chlou village, Ochamchira district. The Fund representatives started their program in Chlou with visit to high school named after Bagrat Shinkuba. Within the framework of "Aguamch» project, Chlou village school was rendered assistance in the form of sport implements: table tennis, rackets, , basketball, volleyball and soccer balls, net, sports accessories, etc.
Our compatriot from Jordan Ashraf Abaza-Chkua together with his family paid a visit to the office of the “International Fund Apsny”. They were received by the President of the Fund Sener Gogua. Despite the fact that Abkhaz Diaspora living in Jordan is not numerous and not all representatives of it speak their native language, they were able to unite and found a public organization called "Divan-Abaza". Among representatives of our Diaspora living in Jordan there is a big number of successful people, who is holding public office in the country-MPs, generals, businessmen, etc.
One year has passed since the project of "International Fund Apsny"- "Ani ammalyki" is carried out. The project aims at supporting young mothers in child care. Every family where there was such a happy event as the birth of a child receives a gift from the Fund with special facilities for child care, clothing, children's books, etc.
"International Fund Apsny" continues the “Apeipsh” project, aimed at supporting vulnerable families with many children. Within the framework of the abovementioned project, the Fund staff Asida Inapshba, Syrma Ashuba and Medjit Gogua visited a large family of Beslan Vouba and Fatima Kvitsinia, who live in New District in Sukhum. Representatives of the Fund visited the family with gifts and package for the mother "Ani amaalyki", as recently the sixth child has been born in the family, who was named Alan. Fatima and Beslan are raising four girls and two boys, five of them go to school.
The “Agurazra” project is preparing for new academic year. Within the framework of "Agurazra" project, "International Fund Apsny" provided financial support to low-income families to prepare their children - students for the new academic year. 20 students, accompanied by their parents, visited the fund's office today; staff members took them to one of the shops of Sukhum, where the parents were able to buy everything they need for school: clothing and stationery.
Our compatriot, living in Turkey, the Chairman of Caucasian-Abkhaz Solidarity Committee in Turkey – Irfan Argun played an important role in history of the Republic of Abkhazia, in strengthening relations between compatriots living abroad with their historical motherland, development of Abkhaz-Turkish relations, enhancing the role of the Abkhaz diaspora in the socio-political life of Abkhazia and Turkey, and rendering assistance to Abkhazia during Georgian-Abkhaz war.
"International Fund Apsny" together with the Association of rest homes of Pitsunda resort, organized a trip to "Dolphinarium" for children with disabilities
25 children, accompanied by their parents attended the event. After visiting the "Dolphinarium", animators showed different performances that were very pleasant to children. Among children, there were those who visited Pitsunda for the first time. On behalf of the Fund, children were accompanied by the Fund’s staff: Sabina Butba, Medjit Gogua, as well as representative of the Fund in Gagra district Slava Sakaniya.
Today, "International Fund Apsny" representatives: Maxim Gundjia-vice-president; Inapshba Asida- general secretary and Simon Agrba- fund employee met with head of Gudauta district Administration, and donated four computers (laptops) on behalf of "International Fund Apsny". This action was carried out within the framework of the fund program on equipping district organizations and schools with computers.
Today, the "International Fund Apsny" presented many gifts to Tkuarchal rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. Air conditioners and household appliances will help to improve the situation in the center. Devoted staff of the rehabilitation center has created a cozy and pleasant environment for children. There are numerous educational classes, and the center itself has become a favorite place away from home for young visitors.

Representatives of the "International Fund for Apsny": President of the Fund Sener Gogua, Secretary General Asida Inapshba and a member of the Fund Mejit Gogua visited Tkuarchal city kindergarten.
The abovementioned kindergarten is the only one in Tkuarchal and currently receives up to 120 children from all over the city. The kindergarten building was renovated not so long ago, but requires equipment; there is no verdure and playground at the surrounding areas.
Today, representatives of "International Fund Apsny", headed by President of the Fund Sener Gogua, paid a visit to Gal Rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. As part of Fund’s project, aimed at supporting rehabilitation centers of the Republic, representatives of the Fund presented a special training apparatus- treadmill to the center, as well as funds in the amount of 25 thousand rubles to repair one cabinet of the center.
The festival of Beauty and Talent "Queen of Abkhazia 2016" and "Mini Miss of Abkhazia 2016" was held in the hall of the State Philharmonic in Sukhum on August 8. "International Fund Apsny" is one of the sponsors of the event.

Editors of the "International Fund Apsny" magazine "Apsyntila sara styla" Guram Amkuab and Syrma Ashuba paid a working visit to Northern Cyprus in order to collect materials about the life descendants of Caucasian Muhajirs in unrecognized country. All of them are called Circassians there. According to the historian, interviewed by our journalists, Cyprus is a home to many immigrants from the Caucasus, but their exact number is unknown. He noted that there are also Circassian and Adyga villages in South Greek Cyprus.

Today the "International Fund Apsny" donated five air conditioners to Ochamchira district rehabilitation center for children with disabilities to be installed in five rooms of the center. Furthermore, funds were transferred to Center for installation of abovementioned air conditioners.
This rehabilitation center was established on the basis of Youth House, headed by Selma Zantariya.
August 4 The round table on topic: "Russia - Abkhazia: Priorities for a coordinated policy in the Black Sea and Caucasus Region” was held in Sukhum in the conference hall of "Atrium Victoria" Hotel on August 4, where Abkhaz and Russian experts discussed the issues of cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia, as well as possible ways of expanding cooperation in all spheres of public life.

The medical examination of children from Abkhazia with cerebral palsy has started today in the medical center "Holy Virgin" in Armenia by the chief physician Nicholay O. Dalakyan. Children have passed the necessary medical examinations, in which specialists revealed the need for an urgent surgical intervention for one child, and other children need orthotics.

"International Fund Apsny" and Cultural Charitable Fund "Ashana" are sending the first group of children with cerebral palsy (Astamur Zantariya 8 years, Amin Bigvava 12 years,Azamat Chkotua 12 years and Liana Gudaliya 21 years old) for medical treatment to Armenia. Children will be operated by leading children's orthopedist-traumatologist of the Republic of Armenia.
This action is carried out within the framework of joint projects of the “International Fund Apsny" and Cultural Charitable Fund "Ashana".

Inhuman act happened in Nice, France, which killed 84 people, speaks about the necessity to unite with each other in order to counter terrorism.

Today ten students from Gudauta district were provided support within the framework of “Agurazra” project. The staff of the “International Fund Apsny” purchased clothes and necessary back-to-school-goods for students.
Once in a month, ten students from vulnerable families living in hard financial conditions from different districts of Abkhazia are rendered assistance by the Fund.
Students and their parents expressed their gratitude to the President and staff of the “International Fund Apsny” for their kindness and support.
Today, the “International Fund Apsny” presented computer equipment to Sukhum Rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. The clerical aids were presented to representatives of the center - psychologist Joanna Kharchilava and teacher-educator Eliso Malania, who, in turn, thanked the employees of the Fund, especially the President of the Fund Sener Gogua, for constant attention and support.
"International Fund Apsny" continues its work in Baslakhu village, Ochamchira district. The staff of “International Fund Apsny” visited the family of Yamze Zarakua. There are seven children in the family, the youngest one is 5 years old and the eldest is 16. Yamze brings up 7 children, three sons and four daughters, alone, without a husband. Her mom helps her in raising the children. Yamze is the only breadwinner in the family, as her mother is retired. She divorced with her husband more than two years ago, and there is no assistance and support from his side.

Many great men have devoted poems, stories and songs, dedicated their lives to it, and dream about it. There are five girls and two boys in this large and friendly family: Milana, Mariana, Miranda, Minadora, Kadir, Kamug and Madonna. The oldest one is 14 years old, the youngest is 4.
The sixth International Festival “Sunny Circle” was held in Gudauta, Abkhazia with the participation of Russian Circus Academy. It is the third time Abkhazia is hosting such a high-level Festival. Talented young people engaged in choreography and circus, as well as Abkhaz choreographic collectives are participating in the International Festival.
The head of culture and education committee of the “International Fund Apsny” Nugzar Logua congratulated attendees with the opening of the International Festival on behalf of the Fund.
Abkhazians say "Those who have no senior elders – have no God" and they wish longevity in Abkhazian language, that is why the "International Fund of Apsny" could not ignore such an event as the centenary of our compatriot Ilya Dochia, who lives in the village of Babushera of the Gulrysh district. The round table dedicated to life and work of the well-known Abkhaz scientist, poet, public figure and holder of the first degree order "Akhdz-Apsha" Omar B. Beiguaa was held in Sukhum at the initiative of “International Fund Apsny”. This year, he would have turned 115 years old.
The round table, organized by “International Fund Apsny” was attended by Mahunir Papaapkha, who, personally was acquainted and working with Omar Beiguaa. She made best efforts to preserve his works. Mahunir was officially invited from Turkey to take part at the round table.
Leadership and staff of public organization “International Fund Apsny” express their deep condolence to all relatives and friends on the occasion of terrorist act at the Ataturk International airport in Istanbul. There are a big number of dead and injured people. Among them were not only Turkish citizens but citizens of other countries too.
“Instead of fighting against terrorists, they kill innocent people. This is a great sin. It is impossible to solve any issue in such a way. Hope it will never repeat again. May the whole world live in peace”, said Sener Gogua.
The public organization “International Fund Apsny” has transferred 100 thousand Rubles to the account of the charitable organization “Ashana” for medical treatment of 10 year old Anela Lakashiya. The transfer of funds document was presented to Anela’s mother Marina Kutarba at the office of “International Fund Apsny”.
285 thousand Rubles is gathered with help of “Ashana” Fund and “International Fund Apsny” for Anela’s maxillofacial surgery. Other expenses will be covered by the Russian Fund “Rusfond”.
Today, The Chairman of Abkhaz cultural centers Federation in Turkey Ahmet Hapat visited the office of "International Fund Apsny". Ahmet Hapat was acquainted with the Fund committee’s managers and staff by the “International Fund Apsny” President Sener Gogua. S.Gogua shared information on the main activities, objectives and tasks of the organization.
Tkuarchal District Hospital was opened in 1953. Maternity unit, which employs 20 people of qualified medical staff, works to present day. Among them there are those who go to work from the capital. For many years, the maternity hospital has been headed by obstetric officer Eliso Kvarchia.
The hospital is in poor conditions, major repairs weren’t carried out since the end of the war. All medical and other equipment is out of date; something is even out of order and needs to be changed.
