“International Fund Apsny” presented gifts to Abkhaz National football team players Aleksey Bondarenko, Dmitry Kortaa and Shabat Logua.

The World Football Cup tournament under the auspices of ConIFA, where 12 teams from different countries participated, was held in Abkhazia from May 28 to June 5.

 The National teams of Abkhazia and Punjab met at the final match on June 5. Punjab National Football Team lost 6-5 on penalties to hosts-Abkhazia. Thus, the Abkhaz National team has become the champion of the World Football Cup 2016! In this connection, the President of public organization “International Fund Apsny” Sener Gogua presented gifts in the form of prize money to football players: Aleksey Bondarenko, Dmitry Kortaa and Shabat Logua. He wished them best of luck in all their endeavors.

In turn, the players thanked Sener Gogua and all the staff of the Fund for supporting them. They stressed that the victory of Abkhaz team at the tournament is the Victory of Abkhaz people!
