The causes and treatment of autism.

The 4-th International Conference “The cause and treatment of autism” was held in Moscow on April 28- 30.

The conference was attended by psychologist from Abkhazia Anna Podolenko and the student of pedagogical faculty (­­ psychology department) of the Abkhaz State University Khanifa Kharchlaa. The trip was organized by the “International Fund Apsny”.

Experts from the USA, Netherlands and Russia participated at the 4-th International Conference: neurologists, psychologists, nutritionists and other experts in different spheres.

Representatives from Abkhazia stressed that they gained a great experience, which can be used in Abkhazia to help children with autism.

As it is known, there is a Rehabilitation Center for sick children in Sukhum. Earlier an agreement was signed between the “International Fund Apsny” and Sukhum Rehabilitation Center.  In connection with it, the work in this direction will be continued.
