Editors of the "International Fund Apsny" magazine "Apsyntila sara styla" Guram Amkuab and Syrma Ashuba paid a working visit to Northern Cyprus in order to collect materials about the life descendants of Caucasian Muhajirs in unrecognized country. All of them are called Circassians there. According to the historian, interviewed by our journalists, Cyprus is a home to many immigrants from the Caucasus, but their exact number is unknown. He noted that there are also Circassian and Adyga villages in South Greek Cyprus. In his opinion, the number of Circassians living in Southern Cyprus is even greater than in Northern Cyprus, but the exact number is unknown and it’s unlikely that someone deals with this matter today.

Within the framework of the visit, the journalists had a meeting with ethnic Abkhazians living in Northern Cyprus, representatives of country's leadership, deputies, scientists, as well as representative of Football Federation of Northern Cyprus.

The detailed information of all materials will be published in the second issue of " Apsyntila Sara styla "magazine.
