The working visit of Abkhazian delegation to Northern Cyprus continues.

By the initiative of the “International Fund Apsny” Abkhazian delegation consisting of the President of the Foundation Mr. Sener Gogua and Minister of Education and Science of Abkhazia Adgur Kakoba is on a working visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The delegation is accompanied by a plenipotentiary representative of Abkhazia in Turkey Inar Gitsba. The delegation was received by the Speaker of the Parliament of Northern Cyprus, Adygean by origin, Ms. Sibel Siber. The delegation briefed the Speaker about the history of Abkhazia and the current situation in the country, stressing the desire of the Abkhazian people for peace and development. They also shared their impressions about the level of education in high schools of Cyprus, where students from Abkhazia are studying along with the representatives of various countries.

"The educational process in the universities of Cyprus is at high level. I met with the rector of a university and learned a lot about the educational system of Cyprus and there is much to learn from” - Minister of Education and Science of Abkhazia Adgur Kakoba mentioned.

In her turn, Sibel Sieber described the long struggle of the Cypriot people for freedom and independence.
"I want them to reach their goal. I appreciate the importance of the meetings, which will give opportunity to learn more about each other and strengthen the relationships. It should be a continuation of such meetings "- said Sibel Sieber.
In conclusion, the President of the "International Fund Apsny" Sener Gogua thanked Sibel Sieber for warm welcome and readiness to strengthen relations. Parliament Speaker and the guests exchanged gifts.
