Visit of the "International Fund Apsny" to China

From May 5th to May 12th 2017 the leadership of the  "International Fund Apsny"  visited the People's Republic of China on a business ocassion.

President of the "International Fund of Apsny" Sener Gogua participated in the International Tea Fair, which was held in the city of Yichang, Hubei Province. The fair was held under the patronage of the local Commercial Bureau and gathered more than 100 local producers and 50 international tea companies. Yichang is one of the oldest tea growing centers - over 2000 years old. Tea from Yichang have been exported to other countries since 19th century. The high level of development of the tea industry with the preservation of quality and environmental standards make Chinese tea the leader in the production with more than 2700 varieties.

Within the framework of the Fair, the "International Fund Apsny" has established numerous contacts which in the future can be used to expand trade ties between Abkhazia and other countries.

From 11th to 12th May,  Sener Gogua and Maxim Gvindzhia visited a number of provinces in China, where they held business meetings with Chinese partners.

In particular, in the cities of Hangzhou, Yiwu, Shanghai, Quzhou, the delegation of the I"International Fund Apsny" had an opportunity to get acquainted with Chinese technologies in the field of agriculture, fish production (China ranks first in the world for the cultivation and production of high-quality black caviar), feed production.

During the visit to China our representatives an agreement on cooperation with the Chinese companies and the agreement on the development of bilateral economic cooperation was signed.

This visit was held under the framework of  "One Belt - One Way" in which more than 100 heads of states took part. As you know, the idea of ​​the "Silk Road", which is meant to unite the common trading infrastructure of half the world's population belongs to China. Under this initiative China plans to invest in the states located on the "Silk Road". Cooperation with China and the development of trade, as well as Chinese investments in Abkhazia creates a new agenda for economic relations between Abkhazia, Russia, Central Asian countries and China. This is a new platform for strengthening stability and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.

The reciprocal visit of Chinese colleagues to Abkhazia is expected in June this year.
