"Aguabziara" - Health

Doctors from Armenia continue their work in Ochamchira and carry out free reception of sick children from Ochamchira, Gal and Tkuarchal districts. Doctors were able to examine more than 70 children, defined problems and prescribed treatment. Local doctors, working at the Abkhaz Rehabilitation centers had an opportunity to gain experience from their Armenian colleges. The survey revealed the diagnosis of 13 sick children. Children who need an urgent medical intervention will be sent for medical treatment to Armenia in the near future.

Today, the "International Fund Apsny" presented many gifts to Tkuarchal rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. Air conditioners and household appliances will help to improve the situation in the center. Devoted staff of the rehabilitation center has created a cozy and pleasant environment for children. There are numerous educational classes, and the center itself has become a favorite place away from home for young visitors.

"International Fund Apsny" donated 5 air conditioners to Ochamchira district rehabilitation center for children with disabilities.

Today the "International Fund Apsny" donated five air conditioners to Ochamchira district rehabilitation center for children with disabilities to be installed in five rooms of the center. Furthermore, funds were transferred to Center for installation of abovementioned air conditioners.

This rehabilitation center was established on the basis of Youth House, headed by Selma Zantariya.

"International Fund Apsny" and Cultural Charitable Fund "Ashana" are sending the first group of children with cerebral palsy (Astamur Zantariya 8 years, Amin Bigvava 12 years,Azamat Chkotua 12 years and Liana Gudaliya 21 years old) for medical treatment to Armenia. Children will be operated by leading children's orthopedist-traumatologist of the Republic of Armenia.

This action is carried out within the framework of joint projects of the “International Fund Apsny" and Cultural Charitable Fund "Ashana".
