Sukhum celebrates its 2500th anniversary.

Sukhum - is the East, West, South and North. Sukhum is life. It is a vivid, tireless, always friendly and cheerful city. It’s a mystery, which people try to unravel and understand hundreds of years. Many great men have devoted poems, stories and songs, dedicated their lives to it, and dream about it. Sukhum is not just a set of dates, names and sights; it is much more than that – it is history and a thin thread of memories, voices and echoes of thousands of generations.

It is constant and variable. Sukhum is the time machine, which connects the past and present. Today it celebrates its 2500th anniversary, but is still young.
